Project Description:

Ann Becker was originally retained to help conceptualize the new Center for Financial Services Innovation, including determining how best to establish it, reach its target constituencies, launch and periodically assess its various activities and initiatives.  She continues to provide organizational development consulting and strategic advice re: CFSI’s growth and direction and also team planning meetings, small convenings focused on select industry-specific issues, and a national conference on the underbanked as well as consulting on CFSI’s South Africa Innovation Exchange.

Urban Sustainability Directors' Network

Project Description:

The coordinator of the  Urban Sustainability DirectorsÂ’ Network asked Ann Becker and Associates to work with her and the Global Philanthropy Partnership in launching this new initiative designed to build a professional network of city sustainability directors across the U.S. and Canada.  Ann Becker provided start-up guidance regarding the process to define an organization that will enable network members/participants to easily exchange information, collaborate to advance their practice, and more quickly find solutions to their sustainability challenges. Issues considered during the start-up phase included need, scope, purpose, desired outcomes, participant  eligibity and requirements, and operational structure and roles. Ann Becker and Associates also provided program design counsel and logistical support for the NetworkÂ’s first Annual Meeting, held in Chicago in September 2009.
