Welcome to the site of the 2011 NSF EFRI Grantees Conference!
We hope you all have had a successful year, and look forward to meeting you or seeing you again on March 23 - 25, 2011, at the Key Bridge Marriott in Arlington, Virginia.
Below is a quick listing of what you need to do to complete your pre-registration for the Conference. Please read on for Conference Highlights:
1. Register for the Conference by Friday, February 25, 2011
The registration fee is $150 through February 25; afterwards and onsite, the fee increases to $175. Grantees are asked to send their PI, at least (1) Co-PI, and at least (1) student for a minimum total representation of (3) people
2. Make your guest room reservation at the Key Bridge Marriott by Friday, February 25, 2011
Our group rate is $209 per night plus tax (10.25%)
For PIs:
3. Prepare a 90-second poster introduction (either YouTube video or onsite presentation, depending on Class); videos are due by February 25, 2011
PIs from the Class of 2010 will introduce their posters onsite; PIs in the Classes of 2007, 2008, and 2009 are asked to create and submit a video, and encouraged to involve graduate students. See "Grantee Poster Introductions and Sessions" for details and specifications.
4. Prepare and bring with you to the Conference your Grantee poster
One poster is allowed per Grantee. Due to space realities, posters may not exceed the allotted space
Conference Highlights
We are also offering an optional workshop on Wednesday evening, entitled "From the Research Lab to Commercialization via the Small Business Programs," and presented by Cheryl Albus, an NSF Program Director in the ENG / IIP Division and specialist on the SBIR / STTR programs within NSF.
